HUM’s mission is to help consumers look and feel great, which is why we deeply care about the environment that we all depend on and thrive on.
Every time you buy 1 bottle of HUM made from 100% Post Consumer Plastic, otherwise known as Prevented Ocean Plastic™, you prevent the equivalent of 2 - 4 plastic water bottles from entering our oceans. Every capsule bottle prevents 2 plastic water bottles from entering our oceans and every new gummy bottle prevents 4 plastic water bottles from entering our oceans.
Eventually all of our bottles will be made from 100% Post Consumer Plastic or Prevented Ocean Plastic™. Our goal is to eliminate all single use plastic by 2025 altogether. We have made progress but we still have a long way to go to continue protecting our planet.
Prevented Ocean Plastic
Prevented Ocean Plastic™ is created from plastic waste that would otherwise end up in the ocean. In partnership with Prevented Ocean Plastic™, plastic is collected from the shores of at-risk coastal communities before it hits the ocean. Through a rigorous process that certifies raw materials for us with complete traceability, it is upcycled into fully recyclable HUM bottles.
